About Me

Hi there! I'm Melissa and I'm so glad you're here! I am a Belmont music grad who loves all things creative. I am a wife and a mother of four amazing kids. I live on a farm near College Grove, TN with my wild bunch and some animals too. I have been a photographer for as long as I can remember beginning with the Fisher Price blue and yellow camera that my mom bought me for Christmas in 1987. I went to school for photography in Nashville back in the dark ages of film. I've fully embraced digital photography and the flexibility that comes along with it, but I still miss the smell of the dark room.

I took paid gigs on and off for about 10 years while I was starting our family and working a full time corporate training career. Now that I've left corporate America and moved to a mini-farm in College Grove, I am getting back to what I love.

I would be honored to help you capture images of you and your loved ones at whatever stage life finds you. As a mother of four kids, I know how fast it goes and how valuable those memories will become.
